The Rim Communities Health Fair, held on Saturday the 20th in Crestline, was a great success. St. Richard’s ran two game booths, bean bag toss and bowling. We had many enthusiastic young visitors, seeking fun and prizes. We were stationed next to the Mountain Homeless Coalition, who shared a new mountain specific resource list and asked participants to share their opinions about the needs of homeless on the mountain.
We are again supporting the food pantry this month with powdered and canned milk products. As you know, for many years, St. Richard’s Episcopal Church has collected food and other necessities for the Crestline branch of the Family Services Agency of San Bernardino County (otherwise known as the Crestline Food Pantry). In an effort to respond more fully to the needs of the people using the food pantry, we have asked them to tell us what they need most. Watch for our announcements in the pink sheet and this newsletter regarding the suggested donation each month.
