Benefit Concert July 10th – Mark your calendars!

The Beverly Hills Choir Ensemble will perform a Benefit Concert, July 10th at 4:00 pm.

St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Skyforest is hosting a traditional English choir service on Sunday, July 10th at 4:00 pm. This ‘choral evensong’ worship event will present beautiful choir, organ, cello, and piano music from professional musicians, including some from the world-renowned choir of All Saints Episcopal Church in Beverly Hills.

The order of service will be in Shakespearean English, based on the evening prayer service of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England, including readings form the King James Bible, congregational singing, prayers and the choir will be dressed in authentic attire.

Among those presenting their gifts are Dr. Sandra Fryling of Orange County directing the choir, Mr. Jeremy Russo of Nevada on cello, and Messrs. Joel Nesvadba, Ted Hollis, and current St Richard’s director of music Kirk MacArthur from the Beverly Hills choir.

During the free concert, a free-will offering will be collected for those wishing to donate. All proceeds are tax-deductible and will go toward the ministries of the church, including the music department and the homeless ministry on the mountain.

All are welcome at this event. St Richard of Chichester Episcopal Church is located at 28708 Highway 18, Skyforest, (across from the Storybook Inn). The Rev. Dr. E.R. Hulbert, vicar, can be reached at (909) 337-3889 for further information.
